It's so funny, Gen, that you suggested that I check out Herb Lubalin's work - I was setting my headlines in Avant Garde (which I don't think I've ever actually used before) and then found your comment about checking out Lubalin's work. Weird.
Anyway, here it is. I know I will get criticism for the rule, but I wanted to give it a try. What if I only use it on my opening spreads? Would that be too inconsistent? Some other worries:
- Not sure about where I want to tuck that byline.
- Are the pull quotes too much?
- What about the drop caps within the article?
